This policy explains what information is collected when you use matchdayza.co.za ("MatchdayZA", "we", "us") and how it is used. We follow South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email address or phone number unless you email us. If you email us, we use your message only to reply to you.

Our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to keep the site running and secure.

Cookies and advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.

Third-party content

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Club logos and match information belong to their respective owners.

Under POPIA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used. Get in touch through our Contact page. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Children

MatchdayZA is a general sports site and is not directed at children under 13.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
